Refunds
Last updated: August 21, 2026
Orchivia is operated by a U.S. company; the law of the State of Wyoming, USA, applies. There is therefore no statutory right of withdrawal of the kind that exists for distance selling in Europe. What we promise instead is set out here — and we stand by it.
The first 14 days
If you are not satisfied within 14 days of signing up for a paid plan, we refund the full amount. No reason needed, no form. A message is enough.
This applies once per account and per plan change — not over again every month. Anyone who signs up and takes a refund twelve times in a row is not using a service, but a loophole.
After that
Paid plans run monthly and can be cancelled at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period — there is no remaining term you would have to buy your way out of. Billing periods already paid for and already under way are therefore not refunded as a rule.
Two exceptions where we refund on a pro-rata basis:
- The service was unusable over a longer period and the cause was on our side.
- We removed a feature that was essential to your plan, and you cancel because of it.
If we suspend an account for a violation of the Terms of Service, we refund the unused period.
Where to request your refund
Subscription purchased through Paddle (web): Write to [email protected] — from the email address of your account and, if you have it to hand, with the Paddle invoice number. We reply within five business days. The payout itself is initiated by Paddle; it goes back to the same payment method and takes a few days depending on your bank.
Subscription purchased through the Google Play Store (Android app): Google is then your contractual partner for the payment, and the refund runs through the Play Store — we have no technical access to that payment. The route is through the order history of your Google account. If you get no further there, contact us anyway; we help as far as we can.
Deleting your account is something else
A refund does not end a subscription, and deleting an account does not stop a charge. Always cancel first where you signed up — see Delete account.
